Awakening to our
true nature which is serene, compassionate and wise in the
midst of life
I have always
loved the Buddhist and Hindu comparison of the lotus
blossom with our spiritual awakening:
Nestled in the mud, using it as its soil, the little lotus
seed emerges through the water and blooms majestically at
the surface of the pond, under the rays of the sun. The
lotus is a timeless symbol of purity and wisdom.
Like the lotus
blossom, we all have the opportunity to bloom into
magnificent flowers. Unfortunately, still too many people
spend their life lost in the mud, forgetting their original
intent to share their sacred, divine presence with the
world.
The
core of my teaching is about how to apply the enfolding
journey of the lotus blossom to our daily life.
I
guide my clients through a threefold meditative journey:
What is our mud?
It originates in our mind. It is our identification with
our thoughts, emotions and bodily sensations.
What is our true nature?
It is our soul, the sacred, divine spark within, which is
serene, compassionate and wise in the midst of life.
As we are facing challenging or unexpected situations,
including an illness, suffering doesn’t come from the
situation itself, but from taking it personally and
reacting defensively.
This reactiveness (stress, emotional
turmoils ....) is unconsciously a cry for help, wishing for
the situation to be different, yet it only deepens
suffering for all involved and never leads to constructive
change.
• Transforming
our mud into a rich soil:
As we move through Life and find ourselves reacting to a
situation, we must develop compassion for the reactive part
of us.
Then we will come to realize that life is not a series of
ups and downs, but all experiences are an opportunity to
embody our serene, compassionate
and
wise nature in the world.
When we are
triggered, it is wise to pause, turn inward in meditation.
Open our heart and embrace our reaction pain, hurt, fear
... with compassion, until they dissolve completely back
into pure life force.
At first this is done, as a sitting meditation then it
becomes a walking meditation, as we integrated it into
one’s daily life.
• Allowing our lotus seed to ascend toward the
light:
This meditative process not only transmutes suffering but
also awakens us to our true nature, enabling us to respond
to life with wisdom.
As we are more in touch with our true nature, reactivity
lessens. We come to realize that the source of lasting
happiness and bliss are within.
• Allowing our lotus flower to bloom majestically, while
sharing our gifts with the world:
As
we share our true nature with others, life is a pure
blessing, not only for ourselves but also for all the
people we encounter.
We are centered in our heart, open, present, conscious in
each moment.
The process of manifesting our reality is done consciously,
with ease and with the intention of benefiting all beings.
At times, when life changes course, we are able to
surrender and trust that our path is being redirected for
our highest good.
We feel deeply
connected to everything and everyone.
It is important to remember that relaxation and
inner peace are the key to optimal health, well being and
quality of life.
• During a session, you will be invited to share what is
disturbing your inner peace, then I will lead you through a
meditation, rooted in profound compassion, which will
enable you to transcend your stress
and emotional
turmoils, awaken to your
true nature
and
respond wisely to what life is presenting you.
I invite you to
welcome each moment as an opportunity to live more
consciously and deepen your spiritual awakening.
